I’m an avid podcast listener. I have been for years now.
For me, it’s like being a fly on the wall during an insightful conversation in the case of interview-style podcasts. Solo podcasts feel like intimate conversations with the host. I’m an introvert so this is right up my alley.
I love listening to podcasts because I can learn while I’m going about my day. Text and video demands your attention to consume the content. Audio kinda just plays in the background, so I can listen and wash dishes or workout. Killing two birds with one stone.
Here are a few of the podcasts I’m listening to right now. Some are new to my rotation, others are permanent fixtures.
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few years now. I consider myself an eventual millionaire so I’m clearly part of the target audience. I also like being able to learn from the successes and failures of millionaire entrepreneurs.
They say if you hang around with 4 broke people you’re bound to be the 5th. Well, same with millionaires. Only I’m getting wisdom from all Jamie’s guests.
The Portfolio Life with Jeff Goins
I’ve been following Jeff Goins’ work for a couple years now and I’ve grown to respect what he’s built. I’ve decided that writing is my one thing for 2017 so I’m “surrounding” myself with writers I respect and can learn from.
The dialogue on this podcast helps me navigate my newfound creative journey.
When I started my vegan journey in 2016, I was searching the internet for every resource imaginable to help me learn more about veganism and how to make my transition as smooth as possible.
Then I found Monique Koch of Brown Vegan.
She was so inviting and warm, plus she kept everything simple. I’ve been listening ever since.
The Robin Sharma Mastery Sessions
Robin Sharma always provides some food for thought on his podcast. It’s never more than 20 minutes but it usually keeps me thinking for a few days.
Smart Passive Income Podcast
Pat Flynn is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He’s also the man behind on of the most successful brand in the online business and internet marketing spaces, Smart Passive Income.
He shares tips about blogging and online business from his personal journey. He also interviews successful entrepreneurs running all sorts of businesses.
The Cliff Ravenscraft Show
Cliff Ravenscraft is like the godfather of podcasting. He IS the guru.
I initially started to listening to his podcast to learn how podcasting worked from a technical perspective, but now I listening to him document his journey as a husband/father/entrepreneur.
The Secrets to Success Podcast
ET, CJ and Karl share insights on how to live a 120 life. This is my favorite podcast because it’s family. (I’m bias, so what)
The podcast is more conversational, and the trio keeps it fun but full of gems.
